Janet F. Brown, age 60, of Highland Village, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007, in Dallas.

She was born June 25, 1947 in London, England to Carl and Audrey Ivens. Janet married Wendell G. Brown on July 8, 1967 in Ockley, England. She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Lewisville and was serving as Senior Warden.

Janet served 20 years as National Executive Director of the Dwarf Athletic Association of America.

She is survived by her loving family; husband, Wendell; children, Owen Brown and wife, Andrea of Corinth, Lucy Ann Branch and husband, Michael of Pottsboro, Texas and Adam Stuart Brown and wife, Julie of Lewisville; grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Ashley, Collin, Shane, Austin, Cody and Jenna; and by her brother, David Ivens of England.

Janet was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Ethan Brown in 2004.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007, at Episcopal Church of the Annunciation. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions made Dwarf Athletic Association of America, 418 Willow Way, Highland Village, Texas 75077; or the Leukemia Society, American Cancer Society, or Church of The Annunciation Memorial Fund (Parrish Hall Fund).
