Jamie Barrow (Callahan) Page, born January 4, 1940 (81), lost a courageous battle with Transverse Myelitus (a cousin to MS) on May 27, 2021.

Jamie was educated in Denton by starting the first grade at T.S.C.W. (now TWU) and finishing with a Bachelors and Masters at N.T.S.C. (now UNT).  Her teaching career included teaching in Denver, Dallas, Duncanville, Carrolton and Corsciana. She loved her first grade students and they loved her.

Jamie poured her heart and soul in her teaching and trying to live the life of a good daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother; but especially a good Christian. In 1986, Jamie married Perman Page.  In the next 35 years they lived in Navarro, Co., Robson Ranch and Good Samaritan, Lake Forest.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Perman, a brother, Jim Barrow, sons Kelly Callahan and Chris Page, along with 7 grand / great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, May 31, 2021 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Denton.
