James (Jim) William Byrd, 55, of Flower Mound, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007 following a courageous battle with cancer. Jim will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and friend who loved God; his country; his family and his dogs. Jim was born March 9, 1952 in Leakesville, MS to William T. Byrd and Bertha Venus Martin. He is survived by his wife of nine years, Twyla Hanna Byrd; daughters, Alexandra Michelle Byrd of Carrollton, Sarah Lisa Clenney of Flower Mound and Holly Marie Clenney of Lewisville; son, Alex Wayne Clenney of Lewisville and granddaughter, Natalee Marie Schloss, as well as numerous friends and relatives. Jim's family will receive friends and relatives from 5-6pm, May 1, 2007, with the funeral service beginning at 6pm in the Shiloh Family Church in Flower Mound.
