James A. White, 91, of Gainesville, formerly of Coppell, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at River Valley Nursing Center in Gaineville. He was born February 17, 1922 in Abbott, TX to John Arthur and Minnin E. (Gough) White. He grew up iin Krum and attended Krum Schools. He married Ruth Lavada Tubbs on May 17, 1947 in Denton, and she died May 18, 2012. He served in the U S Army during World War II, and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone where he wassan Installer.
Mr. White is survived by a son Gary S. White of Denver Colorado, One Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, with Paul Meine, officiating. On line condolences may be left at www.mulkeymassondenton.cm
