James Robert Ussery, 46, of Ponder, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at his home in Ponder.

Mr. Ussery was born on November 23, 1972 in Denton to Jack and Carolyn Marie Ussery. He worked as a cnc machinist.

James is survived by his parents, Jack and Carolyn Ussery of Ponder; soul mate, Clorinda Dawn Ussery; stepdaughter, Halli Ledford; stepson, Colten Ledford; five grandchildren; best friends, Douglas and Chadon Ussery. He was preceded in death by brother, Jackie Ussery.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2019 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Interment will follow at Lonesome Dove Cemetery in Southlake.
