James LeRoy Show, age 66, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Texhoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.  He was born August 23, 1941 in Honeygrove, Texas to William Edward and Dovie Mae Miller Shown.  He worked in the sheetmetal industry for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Shown; children, James Kevin Shown and his wife, Tammy of Lewisville, Texas, Melissa Gay Shown Burris and her husband, Scott of Madill, Oklahoma, and J. Brady Shown of Mead, Oklahoma; Four grandchildren, Sheryln and Daniel Shown and Cody and Josh Burris; two great-grandchildren; Step-children, Sharon Mathews, Lila Stuckey, Rose McBroom, and Jimmy Self, all of Oklahoma; 11 step-grandchildren; and 5 step-great grandchildren; sister, Lowan Sharp; brother, Elmer Gene Shown; and the mother of his children, Jolene Capshaw.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Watson and Betty Thompson; two brothers, Chalres Edward Shown and Thurston Georgia Shown; and a step-son, Ricky Self.

A memorial service will be held in Kingston, Oklahoma at a later date.
