James McIntosh was born in Ft. Worth, TX on October 3, 1952. Shortly after his birth he moved with his family to South Texas, then to San Antonio before returning to the metroplex where he lived out the remainder of his life. James had a very happy childhood with his two brothers, Bob and Mark. His interest as a child included horses and swimming. He was baptized into Christ at an early age and is a member of the Church of Christ.

After graduating from Lewisville High School he served three years in the Navy where he was stationed in Florida. After being honorably discharged he enrolled at East field College where he met his wife of thirty years, Melody. After receiving his degree from the University of Texas at Arlington he went into his profession of Information Technologies. He was an entrepreneur in financial transaction processing for the Internet. He later went on to become the Founder and CEO of his successful corporation Mer-Tec.

Many hours of enjoyment were spent with his daughter Nina at her soccer games and many other activities. He also enjoyed sailing and traveling to exotic beaches, as well as spending as much time as possible with his grandson Caleb. He is preceded in death by his father Leslie McIntosh and his brother Bob McIntosh. He is survived by his wife Melody, daughter Nina, Son-in-law Miguel, Grandson Caleb, Mother Naomi, Brother Mark, Sister-in-law Cheryl and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 31 from 6:00-8:00pm and services will be held on Thursday November 1 at 10:30 at the Mulkey Mason Funeral Home. Internment will be at Tolar Cemetery.
