James Clark (Jim) McGiboney, age 84, of Flower Mound, Texas passed away Monday,
April 23, 2007, at Select Specialty Hospital in Carrollton.
He was born November 25, 1922 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to William Thomas and Audra Carter McGiboney. Jim served in the United States Army during World War II and saw action at the Battle of The Bulge. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Judy Montgomery McGiboney. He married Jo Anne Martin on
September 1, 1979 in Lewisville, Texas. Jim was a member of First Baptist Church in Lewisville and worked for Mobil Oil as a geophysicist.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne; children, Sue Ann Warner of Southlake, Texas, Stephen Allen McGiboney of Grapevine, Linda Anne Franklin of Lockney, Texas,
James Robert Martin of Lockney, Joe David Martin of Bulvderde, Texas and Charles
Loron Martin of Lockney; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Lewisville. Private interment will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas. The family requests memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church; 1251 W. Valley Ridge Blvd., Lewisville, Texas. Contributions will be used for a new bus or for the Deacon's Benevolence Fund. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville is in charge of arrangements.
