James Gregory Hood, 82, of McKinney, TX passed away peacefully on December 7, 2018 in McKinney. James was born in Houston, TX on May 13, 1936 the son of Kennie Roblyn Hood and Edna Earl Gregory Hood.

James is survived by his wife of 44 years Linda L. Lamb Hood; five daughters and one step daughter; one step son and two sisters.

James proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton with Dr. Tommy Brumett officiating. Visitation will take place at the graveside after the service.
