James Hodge of Denton passed away on September 14, 2012. James was a sergeant in the U.S Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Denton ISD after many years of service. James loved to hunt and fish in his spare time. Visitation will be at Denton Funeral Home located at 120 S. Carroll Blvd in Denton, Tx 76201from 9:30-10:30am with a Graveside Service immediately following on Tuesday, 09/18/12 at 11 in IOOF Cemetery. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Lina Hodge, wife Sophie, two sisters, and by one great granddaughter. He is survived by daughter, Kathy Hodge of Corinth, sons James and Scott Hodge both of Sanger, grandchildren Tiffany and Robert Hodge, and Savannah Watson, three great grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
