James Howard Hill, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 14, 2019 at his residence, Wheeler Place in Gainesville, Texas. Born September 6, 1929 in Los Angeles, California. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mina Mae Hill; his mother, Elsie Miriam Parker Hill; his father George Mitchell Hill; his brothers, Donald Parker Hill and George Stanton Hill and nephews Mike Griffey and Jeffrey Braden.He is survived by his son, James Howard Hill, Jr. of Gates, North Carolina and his wife Tammy; a daughter Mary Ann Berry of Gainesville, Texas and her husband Steven; Precious granddaughters, Victoria Hampton and her husband Benjamin; Christina Berry, Mikayla Hill, and Great Grandson Charles Hampton, many beloved nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
