Jim Eskew, age 55, of Corinth, Texas, went to be with the Lord, April 27, 2008.  He was born January 28, 1953 in Ashdown, AR to James and Virginia Eskew.  He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Eskew, Sr., his maternal grandparents, Rufus and Nettie Ford and paternal grandparents, Dosha and Dennis Eskew.  Survivors include his wife, Sharon, four sons, Matt Eskew and wife, Leslie, Chad Eskew, Brandon Plymole, all of Lewisville, TX, Chad Skeans, one daughter Tiffany Plymole and grandchildren of Portsmouth, OH and mother, Virginia Eskew of Ashdown, AR.  Jim will be remembered for playing football at Ashdown High School.   College ball in Warrensburg,  MO and Quachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR.  He has been employed with Fowce Electronics, Inc. in Plano, TX for over a decade.  Jim was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas.

A visitation service was held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas on Monday night,  6:00-8:00 p.m. for friends in that area.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, evening, April 29th, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR.  A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church Wednesday, April 30, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at Ashdown, AR with Reverend Butch Riddle officiating.  Burial will be in Ashdown Cemetery.
