James Cothrin, age 57, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at his home.

He was born March 8, 1950 in Nocona, Texas to Earl Edward Cothrin and Hazel Lavada Ivins Cothrin. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. James married Leslie Kyte on February 14, 1981 in Lake Dallas. He worked as a sheet metal mechanic.

James is survived by his loving family; wife, Leslie of Lewisville and his brothers,

Gary Cothrin of Royce City, Texas, Larry Cothrin of Lubbock, Texas and Rodney Cothrin of Saint Jo, Texas.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow in Coker Cemetery in Saint Jo. Reverend Kenneth Wells will officiate the service . For online condolences please go to
