James Byron Pannell 46 of Aubrey, TX passed away at his home on Thursday September 27, 2012. He was born February 9, 1966 in Denton, TX to James O. and Carol M. (Ford) Pannell. He was a Graduate of Denton High School in 1984 and attended Sul Ross University in Alpine, TX. He worked in Retail Sales, and was a member of the Methodist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age.

Byron was preceded in death by hei mother Carol and sister Kim.
Mr. Pannell is survived by his Father James O. Pannell and wife Madla (Betsy) of Aubrey, nieces and nephews Brittany Hoyt of Carrollton, Hillary Grantham of Jackson, MS Nate Hoyt of Arlington, David Hoyt of Carrollton, uncle and AuntDr. Bob Pannell and Dr. Sue Pannell of Boerne, Cousins Bill and Tommy Hall of Denton, Monica Bowden of San Antonio, and Angie Villareal of Austin, and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at a 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2012 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton with Dr. Joe Carbonaro, officiating. He will then be laid to rest in the Green Valley Cemetery.
