J.F. Norris, Jr., 93, of Denton, Texas left this life for his eternal home on Saturday, April 8, 2023.  He was born September 7, 1929, in Tioga, Texas to Jackson Fuller and Maude Elizabeth Norris,

He was married to his sweetheart, Oleta Yarbrough on February 14th, 1951.  He and Oleta were married 69 years. They were blessed with two children Louann Johnson of Denton, Howard Norris of Nashville, three grandchildren, four great-grand children along with many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.

Junior served his country in the United States Air Force from 1946-1950 assisting in the Berlin airlift while in Germany in 1948.  He loved to fish, hunt arrowheads, work with his hands but mostly he loved telling others about Jesus.  Junior had a strong faith in the Lord.  He began his life journey with Jesus in 1959 and faithfully served Him the rest of his life.

Death is not the end of life for Junior Norris, but a glorious beginning!
