A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Chaplain Doyle Ives, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilot Point Community Cemetery in Pilot Point, TX The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. for visitation on Tuesday, March 18, 2008.
Mr. Nugent is survived by his wife, Elsie Nugent, of Denton, a daughter, Debra Lynn Howard, of N. Manchester, IN and three Granddaughters, Amber Schnepp, Stacey Schnepp, of N. Manchester, IN and Heather Poe, of Peru, IN and Grandson, Adam Louis Schnepp, of N. Manchester, IN Great Grandchildren, Adian Poe, Serena Schnepp, Megan Poe, and Chelsie Schnepp. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews, and many, many Friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Carrie Smith and Patsy Young.
Jackson Louis (J. L.) Nugent, Jr. 75, of Denton, died Sunday, March 16,2008 at the Cottonwood Care Center. He was born June 15, 1932 in Denton to Jackson Louis and Lillie Vesti (Adams) Nugent. He attended the Aubrey and Pilot Point Public Schools. He was ,married to Edith Elsie Booher, on August 15, 1952 in Denton.. He was retired from the Varo Inc. of Garland, where he was a Machinist. He is a member of the Aubrey Assembly of God Church, and served in the U. S. Army.
