Obituary

Dr Jack Raymond Sibley, 76 of Denton, TX died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He was born June 17, 1930 in Arnett, OK to Cliff Raymond and Juanita Faye (Stiles) Sibley. He was a graduate of Arnett High School, Arnett, Oklahoma and received his BA and BD from Phillips University in Enid, OK and his Master's and PHD from the University of Chicago. He was married to Norma L. Hanan on January 20, 1949 in Blackwell, OK, and he is a member of the First Christian Church. He has been a Professor in the college of Psychology and Philosophy at Texas Women's University for thirty six years and received Emeritus Status in 2006..

Private Family Memorial Services will be held. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund, 1203 Fulton, Denton, TX 76201 or the American Cancer Society, Denton Unit, 3301 West Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76107-5709

Dr. Sibley is survived by his wife Norma L. Sibley, of Denton, Son and daughter in law, Jim and Cindy Sibley, of Denton, and a daughter and son in law Jackie and Richard Gunn, of Redmond, WA Three Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren.
