Jack W. Mead, 77, of Highland Village, passed away, Sunday, January 17th, 2010. Jack was born in Santa Monica, CA on May 10, 1932. He retired from American Airlines as a Crew Chief after 41 years of service and served his country as a seaman in the United States Navy. Jack is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marion C. Mead of Highland Village; son, Dennis and his wife, Georgie of Scottsdale, AZ; daughters, Janni and her husband, Richard of Bakersfield, CA, Pam and her husband, Mike of Flower Mound and Kem and her husband, Carlos of Lewisville; grandchildren, Danielle, Jackie, Michael, Casey, Kayla and Connor; great grandchildren, Chlole and Timmy, as well as many other relatives, friends and colleagues. A celebration of Jack's life will be held, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Crossroads Bible Church in Double Oak. A reception will follow until 4pm.
