Iva Lee Duncan, 104, of Denton, died Friday February 4, 2011 at Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Among her live five generations.
Mrs. Duncan was born on April 22, 1906 in Denton, TX to Omar and Charlotte (Kluck) Carlton. She was married to John O. Duncan in Durant, OK in 1923. She was a member of the Sherman Dr. Church of Christ.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday February 8, 2011, in the chapel of Mulkey Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Weylan Deaver will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jason Green, Brent Green, Hunter Green, Montana Morgan, Leland Thomas Norman, Scotty Pope; honorary pallbearers will be Ray Henson, Landon Green, Roger Carlton, Craig Carlton, Steve Carlton, Jerry Green, Dwane Moon.
She is survived by her daughters, Novaline Kline of Denton, Christine Archerd of Winona; son, Don Duncan of Durant, OK; brother, Bill Carlton of Hartshorne, OK; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jess Carlton, Travis Carlton, Willis Carlton, and Joe Carlton.
