Obituary
Itsuko Carty, 79, of Denton, died Wednesday November 2, 2005 at Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Mrs. Carty was born November 3, 1925 in Tokyo, Japan. Her parents were Saburo and Riki Akatsuska. She was married to Albert Carty on July 6, 1953 in Yokohoma, Japan. She retired after thirty years as a cook for the Denton State School.
A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday November 5, 2005 at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Friday November 4 at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Diana Owens of Aubrey; sons, James Carty of Denton, Charles Carty of Little Elm; two sisters; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
