Dr. Issaka A. Mumuni, age 55, of Corinth, passed away Monday, January 1, 2007, in Lewisville.
He was born January 8, 1951 in Ghana, Africa. He was a graduate of Vanderbilt University. Dr. Mumuni worked as an engineer for Andrew's Corporation in Denton and was owner of Easy Street Café in Old Town Lewisville.
He is survived by his wife, Memuna Mumuni of Corinth; daughters, Rashida Mumuni and Nehdia Mumuni of Corinth; sons, Nidal Mumuni and Raja Mumuni of Corinth,
granddaughter, Brielle Brown; his father, Mumuni Mahama of Africa and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family request memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 560089, Dallas, Texas 75356
