Isadore "Izzy" Bornstein, age 92, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at his home. He was born on January 2, 1915 in Warsaw, Poland to Harry and Dora Edelstein Bornstein. He married Dorothy Kovarsky on September 1, 1941 in Elkton, Maryland.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bornstein of Lewisville, TX; daughter, Nancy Bornstein and husband John Grove of Milwaukee, WI; son, Joseph Bornstein and wife Caren of Highland Village, TX; sister, Ida Westergom; two brothers, Alexander and Jacob" Jack" Bornstein; three grandchildren, Matthew Bornstein Grove of Tacoma, WA and Carleigh and Harrison Bornstein both of Highland Village, TX; nephew, Richard Cohen of CT; brother-in-law, Bill Cohen of CT. Services were held February 27, 2007 at Congregation KOL AMI in Flower Mound, TX. Burial followed at Flower Mound Cemetery.
