Ina Laura Jones, 90, of Denton, passed away on August 22, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born March 28, 1921 in Aubrey, TX to Jim and Reina (Jones) Goin. She was married to Charlie T. Jones in March of 1938 and he was deceased on October 2 1976. She was a commercial artist for Moore's Business Forms for 38 years and had won 10 years of fair awards for her painting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Denton.
A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, August 26, 2011 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX 76201. Rev. Cliff Feeler and Rev. Doug Kruger will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25, 2011 for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.
Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter, Charline Cox of Denton; grandchildren, Dell Ray Cox of Gainesville, and Laurie Allen of Washington, PA; sister, Mary Ann Goin of Denton; brother, Buddy Goin of Aubrey; five great-grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
