Ima Cora King, 77 of Fort Worth, formerly of Denton and Argyle, died Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth. She was born June 5, 1929 in DeLeon, TX to Alfred R. and Winnie (Bowman) Underhill. She was married to the late A. D. King in Denton County, in 1951, and was a member of the Baptist Church. She was a retired Florist and Seamstress.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2006 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton with Rev. Leonard Allgood, and Rev. Tom Goodwin officiating. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2006. Burial will follow in the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle.
Mrs. King is survived by three sons, Tommy King, of Garland, A. D. King, of Burleson, and John King, of Fort Worth, three Step daughters, Eloise Richardson, of Denton, Pauline Underhill, of Princeton, and Earlene Underhill, of Sanger, two brothers, Jasper Underhill of Sanger, and Jerry Underhill, of Poolville, three Sisters, Rosie
Venable Reeves, of Flower Mound, Winnie Sue Johnson, of Streetman, and Eva Odette, of Fort Worth, Six Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren. Proceeded in death by a daughter Joyce Needham.
