Ima Jean Henry, 95, of Denton passed away on Monday, Januray 25, 2016 at Denton Good Samaritan Village. She was born November 11, 1920 in Wood Coiunty, TX to James and Etta Mae (Bagby) LaRue. She attended public schools and was a member of the Baptist Church. She worked as a Dietician for the Denton Independent School District. One of her proudest accomplishments was Volunteering for a hospital for about twenty years. She made many friends there and served in many capacities-always with a big smile on her face.
Mrs. Henry is survived by daughters, Ginger Henry and husband Skeeter of Sanger Reta Ellison and husband Herbert of Sanger sons, sons Billy W. Henry and wife Chalor of San Marcos, and Bobby Joe Henry and wife Amadrea of Ponder, sister Kathryn Vinsonhaler of Little Rock, Ark. Twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locst, Denton from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 A. M. on Thursday, January 28, 2016 in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kim Broadstreet officiating.
