Ilene Rowland, 63, of Frisco, died Friday, June 2, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco.
Mrs. Rowland was born on June 26, 1952 in Monahans, TX to Orvil Melvin and Florene O. (Pennell) Shanor. She was a member of the Lake Cities United Methodist Church and a member of the Cowtown Clown Club. She volunteered much of her time clowning at multiple events and charities; she even taught the Art of Clowning at Tarrant County Junior College.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Cepeda and her husband Eric of Austin; son, Kevin Rowland and his wife Vivian of Corinth; sisters, JoAnn Davis of Rowlett, Mary Goodwin of Fort Worth; brother, John Shanor of Southlake; grandchildren, Alexa, Trevor, Erica, Monica, Marissa.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Interment will follow at Dido Cemetery in Fort Worth.
