Ida Mae Ensign, 99, of Denton, died August 28, 2018 at Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Mrs. Ensign was born on March 26, 1919 in Harrodsburg, KY to Henry Alfred and Effie (Brown) Hendron. She was married to Harold J. Ensign; he died on January 20, 1965. She was a member of Gateway United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Maurine Ensign of Monona, WI, Darla Ensign of Denton; son, Jerry Ensign of Clute; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Harold Jr, and Keith Ensign.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 4, 2018  in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home.
