Humberto Roman, 81, of Denton, died Monday, June 17, 2019 surrounded by his family at home.

Mr. Roman was born on August 31, 1937 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Ascencion and Basilia (Arredondo) Roman. He was married to Antonia (Herrada) Roman. Humberto worked as a farmer for many years.

Humberto is survived by his wife, Antonia Roman of Denton; daughters, Maria Roman of Denton, Leticia Rojas of Aubrey, Anna Jimenez of Corinth, Socorro Salas of Wisconsin, Rosie Ramos of Bastrop, Micaela Duron of Mexico, Pamela Roman of Denton; sons, Jose Roman of McKinney, Jesus Roman of Wisconsin, Humberto Roman, Jr. of Richmond, VA, Manuel Roman of Memphis, TN, Francisco Roman of Denton; sisters, Hermalinda Roman of Mexico, Socorro Roman of Mexico, Teresa Roman of Mexico; brother, Manuel Roman of Oklahoma; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 with a rosary at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 21, 2019 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton.
