Howard Joseph Pierson was born May 1, 1956 in El Paso, Texas to Major Howard J. Pierson and Mrs. Francis Ruth Pierson and passed away on April 8, 2018 at his home in Denton, TX.
He graduated from Texas Tech University and made a career of surveying.
He was a great mathematician, avid reader, outdoorsman and naturalist.
He is survived by his mother Francis Pierson of Lubbock, his sister Heidi Simmons, her husband Larry of Lubbock,  a brother Stephen Pierson his wife Paige of Taos, NM, a sister Hilda Adams and her husband Howard Adams of Lubbock.

There will be a graveside service on Friday April 13, 2018 in the Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless, TX at 1:00.
