Howard A. Beebe, age 83, of Denton, Texas, and of Corning, NY passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Guthrie Corning Hospital. He was born on August 24, 1932 in Corning, the son of Lawrence William and Emma Rachel (Davenport) Beebe. He was married to Anne Dill until she predeceased him in 2010.

Howard was a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and he was a self employed carpenter for many years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by everyone. Howard was also a very religious man who had a close relationship with the Lord.

He is survived by his grandson, Benjamin (Sydney) Thornton of Seattle, WA, great granddaughter, Evelyn Patricia Thornton, brother, Dick (Betty) Beebe of Florida, sister, Gerry (Richard) Van Kurin of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Howard was predeceased by his son, Howard Beebe Jr. and his brother, Lawrence Beebe Jr.

A graveside service will be held at Cooper Creek Cemetery in Denton, Texas at 2:00pm, Wednesday March 9, 2016.
