Horace Holbrook Clifton, 89, of Portland, Tennessee formerly of Dallas, Texas died Friday, October 26, 2007 at his home. He was born June 16, 1918 in Sulphur Sp;rings, Texas to Met and Ethel (Presley) Clifton. He was a graduate of Union High School in Sulphur Springs, He was married to his wife Marcile on April 2, 1944 in Dallas, and she died Dec. 15, 2002. He was retired from the U. S. Post Office where he was a Clerk.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.

Mr. Clifton is survived by his son Mike Clifton, of Portland, Tennessee.
