HOMER LEE SPRAYBERRY 84 of ponder texas
passed away at home with family at his side Dec 31 2011
he married Shirley Dial on March 23rd 1953. he worked for the city of Denton for 25yrs.he was retired form UNT after 17 yrs. Homer was born on April 8th 1927 in Lake Dallas to Hattie Lee and Robert Sprayberry..he is survied by his wife Shirley
and his children..Joann Dumm and husband Gary of Ponder,Nicky Sprayberry of Sanger, Trisha Hooten and husband Mike of Sulfer Springs.2 sisters Patsy Newell and Gerogia Splawn

He had 6 grandkids Karen Goodman,Tammy Sprayberry,Tiffany Baldwin,Shavanna Sprayberry,Holly Sprayberry and Shannon Sprayberry, and 15 great grand children..he is preceded in death by his parents Hattie and Robert (Dock),2 sisters Glenna Copeland, Erlene Rose and 2 brothers,Bill Sprayberry and Floyd Sprayberry.daady was one of the sweetest men that ever walked this earth. he loved by everybody and he never met a stranger ..the Lord called him home and he went peacefully in his sleep ..he will be missed by family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.M. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, 1101 Audra Lane Denton with Rev. Randy Snow, officiating. Burial will follow in the Belew Cemetery in Aubrey. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. for visitation. The family would like to thank Bule Bonnet and Bridgeway Hospices for the care of our loved one a special thanks to Christine and Mike and Jack.
