Hilda Ann Lincoln Thompson left this world peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2017 surrounded by love and her favorite music. The eldest daughter of Anna Schultz Lincoln and Alexander Russell Lincoln was born on November 13, 1939 in Wisner Township, Michigan. She is survived by her three sisters, Ruth Sullivan, Helen Hoppe, and Kathy Lincoln as well as her four children, Ann Lincoln, Daniel Thompson, Lincoln Thompson, and Tammy Morrill. Hilda was a very loved and devoted aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews who benefited from her support and beautiful hand-knitted sweaters. She graduated from the Harper Hospital School of Nursing in 1961 and worked in hospitals as a Registered Nurse for many years. Ann helped to save lives working in the Emergency Room and later helped bring in new life working in Labor and Delivery. In her retirement years, she particularly enjoyed leading exercise class, playing chocolate bingo, singing karaoke, and reaching the "professional" level on Wii Bowling. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to the American Heart Association at donatenow.heart.org.
