Herman Weldon Trietsch, 79, of Krum went home to be with our Heavenly Father on October 2, 2009 surrounded by his family.  He was born March 11, 1930 in the Milam Community of Denton County to Herman and Lillie (Barthold) Trietsch of Krum.  He was a cattleman and farmer on the family farm all of his life.

He is survived by his family, JoAnn Trietsch, wife, his son and daughter-in- law Charles Trietsch and Deanna,  daughters and sons-in-law Jolene Maxwell and Rick,  Penny Means and Lee; special friend Cindy Compton, sister and brother in law Lillian Sturm and Paul, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by son Gary Don Trietsch.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 On Monday, October 5, 2009 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home,  705 N. Locust, Denton with Rev. John Stout, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Blue Mound Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home on Sunday, October 4, 2009 for visitation from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M.
