Herb Davis, 84, of Whitesboro Texas, died Monday, May 18, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Davis was born on May 6, 1931 in Lennox, OK to Lincoln and Nellie (Morgan) Davis. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was married to Frances Griffin in 1976 and lived in Richardson TX for many years. Herb was a salesman and has worked at several dealerships ranging from Lincoln and Mercedes to Cessna's. But his real passion was playing the pedal steel guitar.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Davis Richardson and her husband Jimmy of Whitesboro; son, Michael Davis and his wife Julie of Manchester, TN; one granddaughter, Kristina Pacio and her husband Allen of Mesquite and one great-granddaughter, Isabella Pacio.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2015 in the chapel of the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Denton Texas. In lieu of flowers, make a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
