Herald Glenn Stafford, 82 of Denton passed away on Wednesday October 6, 2010 at the Senior Care Center. He was born January 4, 1928 in Marietta, Oklahoma to Horace Herald and Ruby Fay (Morriss) Stafford. He was married to Cherry Ann Watson in Denton, TX on January 18, 1973 He is a member of the Southmont Baptist Church, and was a retired Painter for Lockheed-Martin Aircraft. He was a Volunteer for the Court House Museum , the Bayless-Selby House, and RSVP, and Meals on Wheels.
A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Southmont Baptist Church, 2801 Pennsylvania, Denton, with Rev. Bruce Troy, officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton on Friday, October 8, 2010 for visitation from 6:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels/Denton County, 1800 Malone St. Denton, TX 76201
Mr. Stafford is survived by his wife Cherry Stafford, of Denton, daughter, Genie Ford, of Edmond, OK Son Jeremy Stafford of The Colony, TX two sisters, Jerri Lange of Chippewa Lake, Ohio and Peggy McPherson of Tennessee. One Grandchild and two Great Grandchildren/
