Henry 'Hoot' Davis, 73, of Pilot Point, died December 27, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.
Mr. Davis was born November 5, 1932 in Denton, TX to Jewel 'Jack' and Helen Edna (Curl) Davis. He graduated from Denton High School and attended the University of North Texas. He married Marilyn Louise Justus on December 4, 1959 at the Oak Grove Methodist Church. He was a retired plumber for Fritcher Plumbing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday December 30, 2005 at Gribble Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Skeeter Lowrie, Rev. Sam Redfearn, and Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Gribble Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday December 29 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Toomer, Bobby Farmer, Smith Parks, Jim Bob Alred, Buster McNatt, Dayton Meador.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Louise Davis of Pilot Point; daughters, Nora Kelley Fritcher and her husband Forrest of Gunter, Kimberley Kay Howard and her husband Britt of Pilot Point; sister, Mrs. Al Frazier of Denton; six grandchildren, William Henry Fritcher, Lindsey Ryan Fritcher, Kamey Kay Howard, Kasey Lauren Fritcher, Riley Carroll Howard, Clayton Bowen; nephew, Davis Frazier of Richmond, TX. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Sue Davis.
