Helen Ruth Keenum, of Denton, Texas

Born December 31, 1942 in Oney, Oklahoma to Ola Opal Skidmore and Jody Skidmore and is survived by brother Billy Wagner.

Heaven just got brighter, with the addition of Helen Ruth Keenum Wednesday, March 29, 2023. She was a long time member of New Life Church. She was married to the love of her life Gerald Wayne Keenum until she was widowed in 2012. She was the Mother of Liz Febre and husband Tino, Brenda Skidmore and husband Joel, Dianna "Dizer" Rodgers and husband Chris, Janet Kimmel and husband Eric (both deceased). Grandmother of six amazing grandchildren, Victoria and Jennifer Skidmore, Christopher and Michael Rodgers and Matthew and Nathan Febre, great grandmother of Caiden, Kelly and Canny Rodgers.

Lover of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, proud wife, prouder mother, proudest grandmother, glowing great grandmother and successful business owner.  Mother was loving but also very feisty.

Helen went to the kingdom at 1:12pm Wednesday the 29th day of March 2023. She was 80 years young. She didn't always make it easy, but she was deeply loved.

A visitation will be held at 2 PM Thursday, April 6, 2023 with the celebration of life to follow at 3PM. Both will be held at New Life Church, 1350 Milam Rd. E. Sanger, TX 76266.
