Helen Louise Johnson Davis, 74, of Denton passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016. She was born October 12, 1941 in Dallas to John Amos and Clara Opal (Roberts) Johnson. She was married to George W. "Wally" Davis on April 19, 1985 in Dallas. She was a member and Deacon of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church and served in its ministries as Coordinator of the Bereavement Team, and attended Tuesday afternoon Bible Study, she volunteered at the Treehouse, and assisted with the Communion ministry. Helen's dedicated much of her life to community service being active in PEO, The Arts Guild (TAG), the Denton Benefit League, the Ariel Club, she volunteered for the American Cancer Society, and was a Board Member of Our Daily Bread. In her twelve years at Robson Ranch she was active in the community life enriching it for its residents. Helen's last career job was Project Manager for Federated Foods until 2002. She retired from the Denton-Wise Board of Realtors in 2007.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Wally Davis of Denton; daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Craig Carlson of North Richland Hills; sister, Patsy Goad of DeSoto; grandchildren, Robert Carlson, Erin Carlson, Courtney Babina, Lora Kay Popham, Daniel Popham and Ronald Cowen and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 12, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Alan Baroody, and Rev. Lisa Patterson, officiating.
