Helen Lucille Woolsey Dennis, 82, of Denton, joined her Heavenly Father on Christmas Eve, Monday December 24, 2018 with her children at her bedside.  Heaven gained the sweetest angel, and our world will never be the same.
Helen was born on January 26, 1936 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to Raymond Woolsey, Sr. and Berta Mae (Posey) Woolsey. She came to Texas in her 20's and spent most of her years as an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, and Mimi to her family.  She worked part time for many years for the VNA as a sitter, caring for the elderly.
She is survived by her daughter, Staci Nathan and her husband Joe of Corinth; son, Terry Barnhill of Dallas; brothers, Roger Woolsey of Denton and Bill Woolsey of Lubbock; grand-daughters Madeline Nathan of Corinth, Kristi Barnhill of Garland, and Teri Jo Martinez and her husband Manny of Rowlett; grandson Joseph Nathan of Corinth; great grand-daughters Daisy, Lilliana, Jazmine, Jessi, and Chloe; great grandsons Jimmy, Jorge, and Ethan; nephew Glenn Woolsey of Royse City; as well as multiple out-of-state nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her son Danny Barnhill, her sister Dorothy Thomas, and her brothers Cody, Robert, and Junior Woolsey.
Informal visitation will be available at the funeral home on Friday December 28, 2018. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Rev. Sam Redfearn will officiate the service. Interment will be Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Laurel Land in Dallas.
