Obituary

A very beautiful, petite and precious heavenly blessing named Heidi Ann Weakley, was born on December 12, 2016 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas. Heidi weighed 4 lbs. and 3 oz. and was 16 1/2 inches.  Heidi's journey on earth was brief passing from her earthly body to her healed heavenly eternal one Tuesday evening December 13, 2016 at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Heidi is a daughter to Robert Lee and Crystal Lynn (Key) Weakley of Corinth; sister to Ainsley Lynn Weakley of Corinth; granddaughter to David and Elizabeth Weakley of Temple, Harry and Roberta Key of Denton; great-granddaughter to Robert and Mickey Jimenez of Hayward, CA, J.J. Key of Denton, Dean and Ann Greer of Tyler; niece to Kevin and Callie Ann Haas and children of College Station, Tracy and Trina Page and children of Cross Roads, Landon and Erin Key and children of Corinth, Max and Lacey Johnson of Round Rock. Heidi also has a number of great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.

Heidi Ann Weakley will always hold a very special place in the hearts and lives of many. Heidi's loved ones celebrate with unspeakable shouts of gratitude of the heart the farewell to precious Heidi is not final -  and that a joyous and never-ending reunion awaits in Heaven! Heidi will be the tour guide when each loved one arrives in Heaven … taking their hands in hers… flashing a smile that shines brighter than the sun … and they will be off with Heidi to see the sights in a place so perfect and beautiful that our limited minds cannot fathom it.  And when those in Heaven have spent the first year together with Heidi, the second hand on a timepiece will not have moved a second as we will have eternity to share together when we all get to Heaven!

Heidi's family is thankful for all of the love and support from everyone and have felt your thoughts and prayers. These have been a comfort as the family grieves. The ministry of The Village Church through The Village Church Event Coordinator Colleen Dobbs, Minister Tyler Powell, Minister Derrick Campbell, Worship Minister Michael Bleecker, and others is greatly appreciated by all. Heidi's family also extends appreciation to all the physicians, nurses, Child Life, specialists, and other medical personnel who cared for Heidi and her mother, Crystal, and helped family and friends. A special thanks to Cook Children's Medical Center in Ft. Worth, including nurses, Melissa and Stephanie, the Child Life Specialists, Chaplains, and Photographer. God uses these to help and minister to children in critical condition and their loved ones. Members of Heidi's family praise and thank God for them and request his blessings on each one and all the ways God uses them as instruments to minister to children and their loved ones during indescribable times.

During this season Heidi's loved ones are heartbroken; however, they have chosen to celebrate her life and trust God through it. Loved ones are so very thankful they were blessed to meet Heidi Ann and spend treasured brief time with her. Sweet Heidi Ann will always be loved! The love in grieving hearts make them heavy now but the love that surrounds those mourning provide support through the grief and God's love makes it possible to heal.

Celebration Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX 76201.  Graveside Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Drive, Denton, TX 76207.
