Our precious mother and grandmother, Heidi Margaret Stokes, age 56, known as "Glamma", passed away March 1, 2022 in Argyle, TX after a fearless 3 year battle with cancer. Heidi was born August 1, 1965 in Ellsworth, Maine to Werner Robert Lamm and Barbara Ann Skories.

Heidi lived her most impressionable years in Wiesbaden, West Germany, from 1976 to 1983 while her father was stationed at a nearby U.S. Air Force base. After returning to the states, she began her career as a Cosmetologist in Gulfport, MS, graduating from American Beauty College in 1988. Heidi worked at several salons and traveled across the gulf coast providing fashion and beauty shows with hair, nail, and makeup services. After moving to Texas in 1996, she continued her Cosmetology career as owner of Salon Bellissimo. Heidi's beauty career includes experience as a store manager for Sally's Beauty, skincare expert for Sephora, brand representative for Algenist Skincare, and Lead Aesthetician for Benefit Cosmetics. In 2018, she became a graduate of the National Laser Institute, certified in medical aesthetics and laser technology.

Heidi loved her career, family, and church communities. She was a devoted believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Heidi's hobbies included reading scripture, spending time with family, gardening, and home projects. She loved fashion, glam, sequins, glitter, and anything bling. Her unique laughter was contagious and could fill a room.

Heidi is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Ann Skories and husband John Christopher Stokes. She is survived by her father Werner Robert Lamm; children Alexander (René) Riesenberg, Michael Riesenberg, Krysta (Rusty) Stokes, Ryan (Katie) Stokes, Amy (Ryan) Stokes, and Rebecca Stokes; brothers Eric Lamm and Richard (Kelly) Lamm; sisters Ingrid Lamm and Monica Lamm; and five grandchildren, three nieces, and one nephew.

The visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the service begins at 2:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Southlake Baptist Church, 1101 N. Carroll Ave., Southlake, TX.
