Hazle Garrison Payne age 78 of Lake Dallas passed away Saturday June 6, 2009

at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1930 in Lake Dallas to J.R. and Eva

(Maynard) Garrison. Hazle worked at many jobs but is best know as the Owner of her Day

Care. She also was a homemaker and member of the Cooper Creek Baptist Church.

Hazle is survived by her husband of 54 years James Payne. Son Richard Edwards of Rusk,

Texas. Seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, a sister, Glenda Olson, of Denon.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Bowden, brothers, Jack Garrison, and

James Garrison, and her parents.

Funeral service will be10:00 am Wednesday June 10, 2009 at Mulkey-MasonFuneral Home

Chapel705 N. Locust, Denton. Burial will follow in the Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.  The Rev.

Bobby Bryan, and Dr. Richard Montgomery will officiate the service. Visitation will be 7 to 8 pm

Tuesday June 9, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
