Harvey Edward Wamsley, 68, born August 13, 1950 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia passed away peacefully at his home in Corinth, Texas on January 5, 2019.

Harvey will be remembered for his kindheartedness and willingness to lend help to others. His favorite pastime was enjoying the company of family and despite a hip replacement and the aches of old age and injury, actively playing with his grandchildren.

Harvey was preceded in death by his mother Hattie (Rainey) Wamsley and his father Robert Wamsley. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Wamsley, his brother Charles Wamsley, his sister Debbie Wamsley, longtime friends Jerry Byus and Fred Smith, special friend Jack Gibson, his daughter Kimberly Moore and his grandchildren Kendall and Dylan Moore.

Visitation will be during the day on Thursday January 10, 2019 at the Mulkey Bowles Montgomery Funeral home in Denton, Texas and a graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday January 11, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.
