Harold Loyd Woolsey, 84 of Denton died Monday, July 30, 2012 at Denton Good Samaritan Village. He was born February 16, 1928 in Bowie, TX to Robert Thomas and Mary Emeline (Robbins) Woolsey. He was married to Nancy Lou Scales on June 3, 1950 in Bowie, and she died Jan. 5, 1987. He married Katie Ann Tadlock on May 28, 1988 in Denton. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and retired from Mrs. Baird's Bakery as a store operator.
Mr. Woolsey is survived by his wife Katie Ann Woolsey of Denton, daughter, Connie Lea Fuller and husband Billy of Flower Mound, son Tim F. Woolsey of Denton, step daughter Lucy Ann Wright and husband Robert of Gainesville, eight Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step daughter, Belinda Nuckels.
A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, August 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton with Rev; Bill Bennett, officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. in the Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, TX. The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. for visitation.
