Harold Nuckels, 86, passed away Friday morning, March 17, 2017.Harold was born July 9, 1930 in Pilot Point, TX to Beulah (Jarrett) and Delbert Nuckels.  He attended Denton High School then served seven years in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman.  He married Mary Frances Mahand and they had one daughter.  He was employed by IBM where he worked in several cities in Texas as a customer engineer, emergency parts center, and facilities manager. He served in many churches as a deacon, Sunday school superintendent, elder and board member.  He was preceded  in death by his parents, one brother (Bryant Nuckels), his wife of 61 years (Mary Frances) and one infant granddaughter (Emily Beggs).  He is survived by his daughter Nora, and her husband, Richard Beggs of Denton, two granddaughters: Amy Beggs and Susan Beggs; three sisters-in-law: Loreda Spinks of Conroe, TX;  Margaret Jean Roland of Flower Mound, TX  and Frances Nuckels of Jasper, TX.  A  memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday March 22, 2017 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery funeral home 705 N.
