Harold Eugene Kennedy, 65, of Hampton, GA peacefully passed away on November 10, 2016 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, GA. He was born July 18, 1951 in Wichita Falls, TX to Hastings Lafayette and Kellen Loreda (O'Neal) Kennedy. He worked for man years as a Detention Officer for the Fayette County Sheriff's Office in Fayetteville, GA, where he made a numerous amount of friends, touched countless amounts of lives, shared a lot of laughs and had many stories to tell. He retired with multiple badges of honor in May 2016.

Harold lived in Wichita Falls for 52 years before moving to Hampton, GA to spend the remaining years of his life. While living in Georgia, Harold fell in love with camping in the mountains of Tennessee and spending time at the beaches of Florida.

Harold is survived by the love of his life, Gina Peek, his two daughters, Amy Kennedy of Lake Dallas, TX and Sarah Scoville and husband Sean Scoville of Argyle, TX, brother,Howard Kennedy of Wichita Falls, TX, grandchildren Addison Kennedy, McKenna Scoville, Brooklyn Scoville and his dog whom he considered the best companion to be had, Gizmo.

Harold is preceded in death by his mother Kellen and his father Hastings.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Roselawn Memorial Park, Garden of Serenity in Denton, TX.
