Obituary

Halsey Penney,   46, of Denton, died April 17, 2008 in Denton.  He was born November 11, 1961 in Riverhead, New York to Gilbert Allen and Margaret (Kessler) Penney.  He was a self employed as a Career Motivator in Personnel Placement.  He was involved in Habitat for Humanity, and a member of Denton Bible Church.  He served in the US Army in Desert Storm, and was a graduate of Friends University in 1994 with a BA degree.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday,  April 21, 2008 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, with Rev. Jim Hill, officiating.  The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 5 P.M. until 6 P.M. on Sunday, April 20, 2008.

Mr. Penney is survived by two sons, Kyle Alan Penney and Chase Alexander Penney, both of Conroe, TX  Mother and step father, Margaret and Mike Farris, of Denton.
