Gwinn L. Farquhar, 57, of Denton, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1947 in Houston, to Roy and Mary Lucille (Johnson) Farquhar. He was married to Linda Mills in Sherman, on March 25, 1966. He practiced his faith as a lifelong Southern Baptist, and was a retired Variety Store Manager.
A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday November 2, 2005 in the First Baptist Church of Corinth with James Colston officiating. The family will receive friends at the home from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. on Tuesday, November 1, 2005. Any memorials made to any Juvenile Diabetes or Down Syndrome charities in his honor.
Mr. Farquhar is survived by his wife, Linda Farquhar, of Denton, daughters and sons in law Jennifer Lyn and James Colston, of Corinth, Julie Laine and Jeremy Householder, of Denison, and a son and daughter in law, Jody Lawrence and Jennifer Farquhar, of Dallas, also survived by four sisters, Georgia Jackson, of Gunter, Carolyn Haynes, of Anna, Selina Kading, of Houston, and Shirley Gross, of Houston, and a brother, Roy Junior Farquhar, of Colorado. His three precious grandchildren, Andrew Colson, Cassandra Colston, and Cody Householder will miss him very much.
