Grover Ross Reding, 96, of Denton, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Vintage. He was born April 4, 1910 in Denton County to Grover Cleveland and Lavina Elizabeth (Blackwell) Reding. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, of Denton, and had been a Teen Age Sunday School Teacher for 40 years and a Choir Member, and a Deacon since 1949, serving in the Lord's work in Amarillo, Houston, and Denton. He had also served as a Scout Master and was an avid Golfer and Tennis player. He was retired from Continental Carbon, Company of Houston, where he served as A Department Manager, in Product Planning.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, 19, 2007 in the Cindy Nichols Chapel of the First Baptist Church, 1100 Malone St. Denton, with Rev. Cliff Feeler, officiating, with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, the family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N.
